CatinaBoxx. has taken steps to comply with the FDA’s Deeming Regulations under the Tobacco Control Act of 2009. We’ve added additional vape, FDA, operations, customer service, marketing, sales, and compliance expertise to better serve our industry partners and customers. Complying with all elements of the Tobacco Products Directive (EU/TPD) is also of crucial importance to CatinaBoxx.
WHAT DOES TPD REQUIRE MANUFACTURERS TO DO?
TPD requires manufacturers, importers, and retailers to submit information to MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency) about the products they sell or plan to sell that either contain nicotine or can be used to contain nicotine – which in CatinaBoxx’s case involves our e-juice, tanks, RTAs, and RDAs. Due to the volume of companies involved, this is a huge undertaking for the MHRA, therefore the required actions are happening in stages. Companies have made their submissions and according to information provided by MHRA all notified products are currently under review.
